  17. MM_MegaStat is an Area Statistics  script  for  MailManager.  That  is,  it
  18. generates messages like these:

  256. New  Misc Stats box.  Add "#MISCSTATS Yes" to the config file, and there is
  257. a matching command line option NoMiscStats which can be used to temporarily
  258. disable it.  The new statistics which are reported in it are:

  261.  Various 'number of lines' stats.

  263. Fixed a bug with the Quoter stats.

  265. Looks up node address in message poster stats, so  that  we  can  highlight
  266. anyone who isn't listed.

  268. New config item: #POSTERPOINTS.   Works with the new node  address  look-up
  269. in  the  poster  stats.  If  set to yes, we don't look up the boss node but
  270. instead try to look for the address verbatim - even if it's a point.

  272. Item number (leftmost columns) now work okay with  >  2  character  numbers
  273. (like I said previously, LandNet is one hell of a place).

  275. New command line option - TOTAL (keyword option, i.e. you must use TOTAL=50
  276. on in the arguments). This overrides the #TOTAL option in the configuration
  277. file.

  281. The program didn't handle 4 figure values correctly, fixed.  (Thousands  of
  282. message a week? Freq LANDNET from 2:442/108!  It's worth your time!)
  283. Document bug: I called an insertion sort a bubble sort!
  284. The tear stats can now be set to reflect the actual software  in  use.  The
  285. new  configuration option to use is #USETEARSW (Yes/No), and must be use in
  286. conjunction with #TEARSTATS. Another unique MM_MegaStat feature? :-)

  290. MAJOR new feature added :  multiple areas support.  Create statistics for a
